Originally the line was set to launch by May 2025, but that timeline seemed to shift after procurement issues caused delays with the driverless trains. The trains were to be supplied by a Chinese firm, CRRC, who did not set up a manufacturing company in India as it promised to do and which caused delays in delivering the rolling stock and the launch date.\u003C\u002Fdiv>\u003Cdiv>After warnings and negotiations, CRRC partnered with Indian company Titagarh Rail Systems to expedite train deliveries.
